{FHR} Teamspeak Rules

Postby {FHR} ROCK on Mon Apr 28, 2008 10:01 am

Where as we maintain an attitude of respect and courtesy for all who enter our servers, and where as we have a zero tolerance in text, the dynamics of teamspeak differ somewhat and in order to avoid confusion, we feel compelled to put down in written form what we feel should be self evident.

Rules And Regulations For Teamspeak

1) Treat others with respect and courtesy

2) No racial/ethnic/sexual oriented slurs are allowed

3) No beligerant, or openly hostile behavior is allowed

4) Do not play you music, or ramble on incoherently and or endlessly

5) DO NOT spam our ts (join and leave repeatedly just to get attention). This will lead to a swift ban from our server.

Extension: We at (FHR) understand that teamspeak is an entirely different medium that in game text and as such, some leeway may be made available, so to this point.

Some swearing is accepted at times in ts provided on a few conditions.

1) There are no women or young children in the channel

2) There are no public members in channel that might get the wrong image of us

3) No one in the channel is offended by the language

4) The swears are not directed in a cruel or malicious manner toward other players

So, basically in ts, some swearing is accepted as long as it doesn't offend anyone in channel. If anyone (and I mean ANYONE) objects to the language, the language must cease immediately and if need be, move to another channel and carry on there as to not cause offense. We will not debate what is a "bad or good" swear. If someone has a problem with something you say, have respect enough to honor their viewpoint.

Also, some mild teasing and busting of the chops occurs in ts. We find this to be a friendly and healthy outlet, as well as a way to come closer in our friendships with one another. But again, if you say something that offends someone, apologize and cease that course of action.

We try to have fun in our servers, and in ts, we let loose more than in text. All we ask is that everyone use common sense and proper discretion. :~) B~)
